Installation of a Subwoofer in a Car the right way
Life is not complete without music; it does not matter if you are relaxing on your couch, or doing some work with some background music, whether driving or stuck in the traffic mess, music is important in life. It is a good thing that you have music in your car however it is now time to improve it with updated subwoofers for that out of the world experience. Checking out these subwoofers, and making a selection on what is suitable with your budget and needs now you can get it installed. You can follow the steps given here below, or you can hire someone to do it for you.
To get started, you should get the parts and ensure you have these subwoofers, a subwoofer box, amplifier kit, and the amplifier and adhesive tape. Start by ensuring that these subwoofers box is designed specifically for the speakers and the that amp you have selected is compatible with the speakers. Make space for the power wire to pass by getting an opening through the firewall which can be done by going under the dash to ensure you get the power line ready. The thickness of the power wire should be between 8 to 0 in most of the kits. It is time to get a fuse near the connector that will go right in the battery and get one close the battery but do not connect it for now.
Remove the player head unit and pull out the dash and using the adhesive tape, tape the remote wire onto the RCA cable and attach it up underneath the dash on the passenger side right to the position of the player. Here you can decide if you want to connect either the remote or straight wire or the wiring harness that is correspondent to the player with the RCA cables. At this point the wires have to be run back to the point where the mounting of the amp was done. Run the wires to the position where the amp will be placed. Wires should run down on the passenger side for safety.
The carpet on the amp should now be lifted and get a good place where the metal of your car body is exposed so that you can lay the wire. If the ground is not good there will be issues with the amp so the ground must be and if this is not easily achieved you can consider sanding some paint to get a firm ground. Lastly, these subwoofers can be placed in the car, connect the amp to the speaker wire. In the battery cable, secure the fuse with an item in the engine compartment such as twisting it to the hoses, or hook up the cable of the battery to the plus side of the battery. Before assembling, these subwoofers should be tested and make sure everything is connected properly so that you can enjoy the fine tunes in your car.
